The educator will also be able to provide students with real world examples. Students are given multiple opportunities to excel and demonstrate their content knowledge throughout this lesson. By assessing their prior knowledge prior to the beginning of a new chapter students will make connections to complex concepts. To assess prior knowledge related to the concept being implemented students are asked to recall how genetic information is transferred to new chromosomes.
