The mission of Iron County Care and Share is to provide compassionate assistance and resources to individuals and families in need, creating opportunities for increased stability and self-sufficiency. Iron County Care and Share is a local, private non-profit dedicated to providing compassionate assistance and resources to individuals and families in need, offering them opportunities to increase their stability and self-sufficiency. Our target populations are homeless men, women and children; residents of Iron county; and the chronically homeless in Beaver, Washington, Garfield, and Kane counties. This population includes the elderly, minorities, the disabled, veterans, developmentally disabled, physically and mentally ill, those with dual diagnoses, and homeless people living in places unfit for human habitation.

Iron County Care and Share in Cedar City provides an emergency shelter and food pantry to help homeless and low-income individuals and families. This summer they created a community garden to directly serve those in need.
A top member of the Southwest Applied Technology College management team will now be joining the Iron County Care and Share in its mission to provide assistance to families in need. Derek Morton, Iron County Care and Share board member, said Green will be starting the job at a pivotal time for the nonprofit. Green relocated to Cedar City from California more than 10 years ago, according to a news release from the organization. Description: ICCS is a non-profit agency. Our mission is to provide our neighbors with basic necessities of food, shelter and clothing. If you are interested in helping in the warehouse to sort food items or help in other ways, please call and arrange a time to come and volunteer Food Bank Volunteer Days and Times Monday-Thursday am- pm Volunteers are needed for hour shifts during open hours, preferably committing to helping regularly.
