There is something mysteriously peaceful that occurs in us when we stand on the bank of a pond or lake to admire the calm surface of the water. When the waters are undisturbed it almost looks like a mirror reflecting the sky above. With just a little bit of imagination looking into those still waters is almost like looking through some mystical portal into another world that looks much like our own but eerily upside-down. But in one second all of that peace, calm, and imagination can be erased; all you need is to throw a stone into the water and the mystery will vanish. The glassy surface is broken up and disrupted by the impact of that one small stone. At the point of impact, you will see an initial splash and then concentric circles of waves will begin to expand out from that point.
I consecrate myself to God to do His will where I am, be it in school, office, or kitchen, or wherever He may, in His wisdom, send me. Grace is been defined in so many ways because it encompassess a lot of things. While Mercy is not receiving what you deserved. Most of the times when i ready christian articles, i discovered they don't really know the difference between Grace and mercy and so they interchange they. We can find the words grace and mercy used in the same context and sometimes in the same sentence in the Bible. Do they mean the same thing? And if not, what is the difference? Mercy and Grace: Are They the Same?
If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me to Hebrews chapter 4. This morning I'd invite you to look back to Hebrews chapter 4 verse 1 and also verse 11 because in those verses you will see an exhortation in language that you are going to meet again in the passage we're studying today. But in chapter 4 verse 1 and in chapter 4 verse 11, you will find an exhortation. It's a warning against failing to live life in such a way that you enter in to the ultimate rest that God intends for His people, and so it's a scary passage. There are a number of these warning passages that we've already met in Hebrews and there are more warning passages to come, but it's followed by the passage we're going to study here today which is a passage of comfort. And I'd like you to note what they are because the whole passage is built around them. And that's what we're going to be studying together today.

The Acts of the Apostles tells graphically of Paul ravaging the church by entering house after house, and how after dragging off both men and women he commits them to prison.
It is hard to speak of God's mercy without first talking about His grace. It is His act of forgiveness, and love. Whereas, His mercy is an aspect of His love where He helps those that are in need or trouble. It is when He holds back the punishment that is truly do to me. God's grace moves for us regardless of our selfishness, laziness, hatred
