Major Naff, Assistant Chief of Operations, wants to remind you that with increased boat traffic on our waterways due to folks enjoying the last big weekend of the summer, DGIF encourages everyone on the water to be aware of their surroundings, wear a life jacket and don't drink and drive. Just remember: There is no single thing you can do on the water to protect yourself more than wearing a life jacket The best viewing is yet to come! Dove hunter success often depends not only on the dove population and nesting success, but also on the condition of the habitat and the amount of food available. Inflatable life jackets are not only a good idea, they are also cool and comfortable. Keep your memories safe!
