I have been having problems with my throat for over a year now. It all started in May when I developed an uncomfortable 'lump' sensation in the centre of my throat when swallowing. I went to see this specialist in August last year. I was happy with this diagnosis at the time, and started taking the treatment he had given me Omeprazole and Gaviscon. I took this for months though and had no relief. I went to my GP about this and he said it is nothing to worry about.
