There was a birthday card awaiting her at our table. When the 2 hrs was over we didn't want to leave! The boat ride itself was so smooth I forgot that I was even on a boat at times. Overall a great night. I would definitely do this again without a doubt. It's perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or just a cute date night. They also have cruises in several other cities along the East Coast so I will definitely look them up if I am ever in those areas.
During the day, one could see all the sights and enjoy the sunshine on the top deck. It was all smooth sailing. We were even able to get in a game of Jenga using jumbo blocks! The crew was especially attentive. It was my mom's Wonderful way to get with family and friends to just sit back and enjoy a boat ride, food and music. The staff was wonderful and we all enjoyed it!
I went with friends, reservations were easy to make and good costumer service. Cruise was ok, food was good, friendly staff, Tameka our waitress was really good. Big margaritas to share were yummy. He only thing was their music, DJ need to pay attention if We were on this cruise ship on Saturday night for a friends 50th birthday celebration and not even 10 minutes into the cruise some ladies begin fighting!!! I know that has nothing to do with the company however, we were not compensated for this nonsense

Cruising the Elizabeth River on the Spirit of Norfolk
By sylent , September 22, in Carnival Cruise Lines. Anyone ever wonder why they don't offer crab legs with or instead of lobster? I would think it would be cheaper, and just as many if not more people probably like crab legs. They offered them on Princess in the MDR back in Princess had crab legs on its all you can eat seafood buffet and one night in the MDR last cruise I had with them. I love the taste of crab meat, but I don't like to eat with my hands and think that crab legs are too much trouble to pick out. I imagine even if they pre-open the legs, it's labor-intensive both for the kitchen staff and for the diners.
Flooded and rebuilt, then flooded and rebuilt again—and again—one American city is seeking new approaches for the future. As she moved to clear the dishes, Speights heard a splash from under the table, and felt her feet grow wet inside soggy sneakers. Around her, water was bubbling up through the floor vents and flowing under the front door. She looked down and realized she was standing in a pool of saltwater. The Speights family had lived in the house for more than five decades, but that storm, in November , was the first time it had ever flooded. But the threat of flooding had always seemed manageable. A few weeks after the storm, Speights and her mother moved out for several months while repairs were made—all paid for by their flood insurance.
