THE PURGE SEASON 1 EPISODE 9 shown in less than 3 mins

season episode   the   you

A group of seemingly unrelated characters cross paths in a city in an altered America during a hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. While the clock winds down, some will fight, some will hide, others will embrace what it means to Purge to its fullest extent—whether for revenge, personal gain, protection, or unadulterated glee. As more… A group of seemingly unrelated characters cross paths in a city in an altered America during a hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. As each character is forced to reckon with his or her past and plot how to better their futures, they discover how far they will go on Purge Night. Lila grapples with rejection.

That Joe could spend all that time intently listening to pro- Purge propaganda, plus all that effort making masks, and merely be setting out to help others does seem a little implausible in retrospect. But apart from the brutal killings of bad guys, he always seemed so tenderhearted. Now, however, comes the big twist, and with it the image of almost all our surviving protagonists bound, gagged, and headed toward some unknown fate alongside some others Joe has snagged along the way. Once again, well played, The Purge. That was not what I was expecting. Most have been satisfying enough on their own terms. Looking back, however, it seems like The Purge was always heading toward such a moment.

For those attempting to simply survive, every minute feels like an eternity. In Episode 8 of The Purge , we bear witness to a shocking death, then a jaw-dropping twist. Everything is coming into focus. But here Penelope achieves little peace of mind, as her periwinkle robe immediately attracts the attention of a major league creep. Flabbergasted, Penelope realizes that she needs to find the bus and save her old comrades from a needless death. Meanwhile, the creep who had accosted her assembles a 3D-printed handgun and attempts to kill Pete, who had once put his brother in prison, only to be foiled by Miguel.

The Purge Season 1 Episode 8 Recap

What does this next installment have in store? Lila and Rick conversed about the events of the night so far, while Jenna went to refresh herself in the restroom. Lila expressed nervousness towards her impending return to her familial home. She then went off to find solace in private contemplation. Rick brought Lila a freshly prepared grilled cheese sandwich, and she was confused over the meaning of this gesture. Lila told Rick that the deal with her father would still go through as she was now the CEO of the company.

This The Purge review contains spoilers. Like Penelope and Miguel, I am a Purge survivor. No, really! If you'll indulge me my inner Sophia Petrillo, picture it: Louisville, It's a hot August day, when fliers start appearing on telephone poles around town. In hindsight, it seems silly, but at the time, it was taken seriously as a real threat. Five months earlier, a mob of teenagers formed up at a major park on the city waterfront.

Often, traps set by purgers as well as lurking purgers everywhere make this quite difficult. Still, there are a few people who offer sanctuary in these dark times. However, you may never know the ones who you can genuinely trust. Pete welcomes them in and gives them the chance to rest. However, when a sketchy man approaches Penelope, trouble starts to stir. Fortunately, Pete was there before anything wrong happened. After some time, the man tries to take Pete out.
